Herbert Hilligan's SeaWorld Adventure to Raise Awareness of Conservation Fund
San Antonio, TX (May 27, 2005)

A new children's book, Herbert Hilligan's SeaWorld Adventure (Imaginative Publishing), shares the experiences of Herbert Hilligan, "an average kid" and his class, as they visit SeaWorld.

They arrive to SeaWorld like thousands of students visiting the park on an educational field trip - on a big yellow school bus - and embark on a whirlwind tour of the park that includes challenging, but fun math problems about each area they've visited.

Herbert' lunchbox - "the coolest of cool" - is far from ordinary and solves several dilemmas as the class visits Shamu, the Penguin Encounter and the Shark exhibit; at the world' largest marine life adventure park. The lunchbox saves triplets from a perilous ride, turns into an ice cream truck to find a lost child, and even transforms into a submarine so Herbert can get a closer look at the park's shark collection.

Herbert and his class learn so much about marine animals that they want to do their part to "keep all the oceans completely trash-free." With the help of the lunchbox-turned-wishing well, Herbert and his classmates turn their wishes into coins to save the ocean's animals.

Just like Herbert's lunchbox, the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund supports wildlife preservation, research, education and animal rescue. By the end of 2005, the Fund will have awarded grants totaling more than $1.2 million dollars. This is in addition to the more than $2.5 million annually earmarked for conservation by the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks.

Herbert Hilligan's SeaWorld Adventure is the fifth book in a series by San Antonio author Paul Epner. A former middle school math teacher, Epner's lively approach to reading and math has delighted thousands of Texas schoolchildren during live programs he has presented around the state.

Illustrator Bill Reed, also native to San Antonio, is a talented illustrator and animator. He is also skilled musically and performs as a "singing artist" in school programs throughout the state.

Herbert Hilligan's SeaWorld Adventure retails for $16.95 and is published by Imaginative Publishing of Fort Worth, Texas. The book can be purchased at SeaWorld parks, San Antonio area H.E.B. Stores, www.imaginativepublishing.com and www.amazon.com.
