There
are many types, or species, of dolphins.
The most familiar dolphin to most people is the bottlenose dolphin, which belongs
to the scientific family Delphinidae. Other members of the dolphin family
include killer whales, pilot whales, and Commerson's dolphins. Dolphins
live in groups called pods.
